Log 1.0 And so it begins

In October 2023, I decided to go on a game dev safari ๐Ÿš™, concepting a whole drivable game in just two days!   Think art assets galore,  enough code to tangle a programmer in, bugs that couldn't be handled by Mortein Doom๐Ÿชณ, โ€ and a deadline that roared like a lion.  While the perfectionist in me wanted to keep this project under wraps (it wasn't exactly winning any beauty contests at launch!), I unleashed it on a few brave friends for feedback. Let's just say they gave me a Kilimanjaro-sized mountain of it! ๏ธ

Apparently, the game needed a built-in "how-to- not get eaten by a digital zebra" tutorial ๐Ÿ˜‚,   a smoother transition from prayers to playtime (gotta give the gamers a moment to collect their thoughts!) ๐Ÿง ,  more ways to steer this digital beast ๐Ÿš˜,  and a UI that wasn't stuck in the Stone Age ๐Ÿš.  Sound effects needed a tune-up too๐Ÿ”Š,   and the obstacles ๐Ÿšง? Well, let's just say the line between collectible and "oh no, not that!" was a bit blurry.    Even the camera angle ๐ŸŽฅ got flagged, though isometric is still my pride and joy.    Difficulty levels were a popular request, from easy-breezy ๐Ÿ˜to "where's the barf bag๐Ÿคฎ?!"

While my work-life balance wasn't exactly conducive to implementing all this amazing feedback, this project is far from kaput!  I'm planning a revamp, art style overhaul included (if the feedback gods deem it worthy).  This whole thing was a massive learning experience, from wrangling 3D models in Blender to making them move like magic in Unity ๐Ÿฆฟ, and even figuring out how to light the scene without setting everything on fire.

Get ready for a front-row seat on this rookie dev's journey!  I'll be logging the development process, so you can see exactly what it looks like to build a game from the ground up. Buckle up, it's gonna be a wild ride๐Ÿค !

43 days late to get to this. Sigh! But better later than never ๐Ÿ˜…
Just want to say that the gate opened up by this game cannot be understated (In how much it has inspired others -me) and I look forward to every inch of progress you have outlined for us in the future, alongside other games of course. From the awesomely lovely art design, to the glorious picking of accompanying music and that little wobble when you switch lanes (Oh! how I love it, I be switching lanes just to see it). Can't wait to be back on this streets avoiding cones, eating burgers and fueling up!! Till then keep up the good work ๐Ÿฅณ

Also implement high score so I can beat you ๐Ÿคฃ
